Tick, tock, tick, tock. You check the tracking information for an update on your incoming vape mail for the 47th time in an hour, hoping for some divine intervention with the carrier that will bring those bottles of liquid gold to your front door even just a day early, but to no avail. It’s still supposed to arrive sometime Wednesday.
So now what? Here’s what.
1. Meditate - One of the best surefire ways to lower that anticipatory high blood pressure is to practice mindfulness through the quiet, tranquil practice of meditation. Sit in a room where there are very few sounds or distractions (with or without your mod) and count your breaths. In with 1, out with 2. In with 3, out with 4. Pretty soon, you’ll completely forget that vape mail in transit, and you may even improve your physical and mental well-being in the process.
2. Watch YouTube Videos - We’ve all done it - you hear about a funny video from a friend and look it up on YouTube, and after it ends, see another one that might be cool. 2 hours later, you’re watching videos about the Cuban Missile Crisis, seeing the Top 10 Soccer Goals of 2016, or learning how to get a 6 pack in 20 minutes. It’s educational, a great way to kill time, and let’s face it - it's always pretty damn fun. Here's a pretty funny video you could watch!
3. Go to the Gym - A large number of us humans despise going to the gym, but love having gone to the gym. I mean, how comfy is this bed right now? Why would we want to ever leave the unmeasurable safety and warmth it provides? Well, because watching the clock waiting for the UPS guy to drop off your E-Juice isn’t accomplishing anything. So get up and go sweat! It’s good for you, and you’ll feel better about yourself by the time it finally arrives.
4. Plan Your Next Trip - Half the fun of going on a trip is actually the planning of it, so hop on the net and see where the winds will take you next on this journey we call life. Just make sure your departure is after Wednesday because that’s when your vape mail gets here. *quickly checks watch*
5. Make Your Bucket list - It’s fairly uncommon to have an actual list of things we want to do before it’s time to clock out on life - so open a new Word document and start that numbered list. Don’t forget to shoot for the stars here - try to come up with things that scare you and push you outside your comfort zone. Before you know it, there will be a knock at the door from your favorite mailman delivering the juice…and look at all the things you’ve accomplished while waiting!
