It did not taste like candy whatsoever. I have tried many juices the same way I tried this one and some are great some are horrid. This one sadly didn't make the grade. It really tasted like burnt plastic. Before you downvote me for having a bad experience, I tried it on two seperate cleaned and wicked RDAs. I wouldn't think it would need to steep as it is a fruit/candy flavor but maybe so. Possibly came from a bad batch? I will update after a month or so.
So I was really excited to try this one, unfortunately they forgot to include it in my box though... So I didn't get to try it after all. This was my first box too. I'm only giving it the 5 stars because I like melon flavors and I'm sure I would have liked it, and hoping they will include it in a future box. I know if so give a 1 star that won't happen.

Tastes like a watermelon jolly rancher. The flavor could be a little stronger, but overall a very good liquid.
